In the heart of PT. Chakra Naga Furniture, where craftsmanship meets creativity, a transformative journey began. Luqi Hermawanti, the visionary founder, recognized the untapped potential within the factory’s production waste. Witnessing the abundance of discarded materials, Luqi saw not just waste but a canvas of possibilities.
Driven by a commitment to sustainable innovation, Luqi seized an opportunity presented by LBEC (Local Business Export Coaching), a program initiated by CBI Netherlands and the Indonesian Ministry of Trade. Inside LBEC’s initiatives, Luqi found herself immersed in the Design Clinic, which aimed to empower local entrepreneurs to craft designs that could compete on a global scale.
Luqi found herself partnered with Harry Maulana, a distinguished Product Designer and Senior Advisor at IDDC. Together, they embarked on a mission to breathe new life into manufacturing waste. This collaboration gave birth to KREDO CYCLE, a brand that would redefine the intersection of sustainability and elegance.
KREDO CYCLE’s signature style, coined “digitarian,” emerged from the creative minds of Luqi and Harry. Characterized by intricate square patterns crafted from different marbles, these designs became a visual testament to the brand’s commitment to elevating waste into wonders.
This is more than a journey from waste to wonder; it’s a testament to the synergy between innovation and sustainability. Join us at KREDO CYCLE as we celebrate the transformative impact of LBEC’s Design Clinic, guided by the creative prowess of Harry Maulana. Explore our collections and witness the elegance that unfolds when waste is sculpted into art.
